Tutors

  • Tutors I-V - Mathematics
    • Requirements - Tutors must have an overall GPA of at least 2.75 and must have taken the course which he/she is tutoring (or higher-level course) with a grade of "B" or better.  Preference given to those with at least 6 hours of upper-division mathematics courses.
    • Qualifications - Tutor classification will be determined by your total points from education and experience...Tutor I (2pts), Tutor II (3pts), Tutor III (5pts), Tutor IV (7pts), Tutor V (8pts).
      • Education: (Points Level), 1 pt H.S. or GED, 2 pts 24+ college hours, 3 pts 48+ college hours, 4 pts 72+ college hours, 5 pts 96+ college hours, 6 pts Graduate level course (post-Baccalaureate)
      • Experience as a tutor: (Points Level), 1 pt One year at secondary level, 2 pts One semester at college level, 3 pts Two semesters at college level, 4 pts Three semesters at college level, 5 pts Four semesters at college level, 6 pts Five or more semesters at college level  (Semesters refer to long semesters such as Fall or Spring and excludes Summer)
